Smoky/Dramatic Eye
Prep:
- Apply foundation as usual.
- Apply a light dusting of blush (if prone to redness, avoid pink tones).
- Fill in eyebrow if needed.
- Apply a light, flesh toned shadow like Trucco's In Pale, Luminesse, or Spirit to entire lid and under brow.
Tip: If you are worried about accentuating wrinkles use matte shadows, avoid shimmer.
Steps:
- With a grey shadow like in Trucco's Swingers duo apply to lower lid by pressing in with a flat eyeshadow brush.
- Apply a black eyeshadow like Trucco's Moonshade or a darker grey shadow to crease and outer corner using a pressing motion.
For a lighter look: blend black or darker grey in with an eyeshadow brush in a sweeping motion. For a more dramatic look: add more black and barely blend the outside edges.
- Line upper lash line with black eyeliner. Line the lower lash line with the grey shadow. For a more dramatic look: line the lower lashline with the black shadow.
Apply black mascara to both upper and lower lashes.
- Softly line lips with a pale liner like Trucco's Babydoll lip pencil.
Apply a light gloss like Trucco's Babydoll lipgloss.
